The SBU reported preventing an assassination attempt on the commander of the Third Army Corps, namely Andrey Biletsky. According to the investigation, an operator of a drone, based in the Kharkiv region, was recruited by Russian special services and was collecting data on the time and location of Biletsky’s appearance at his unit’s positions in order to launch an attack. It was established that the agent was uncovered at an early stage, documenting his contacts with Russian special services who recruited him through his wife who resides in the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
